As we all know that National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2019 twice a year. JEE Main will be conducted only in the online mode from this year. Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) used to conduct this prestigious examination. It has been confirmed by Union MHRD ministry that with the introduction of NTA, the exams will be conducted in a more secure way and will be in accordance with International norms.
NTA is beneficial for students as from now there will be no issues of leakage of questions and the examination process will be more transparent and student friendly. As NTA is going to conduct JEE Main twice a year, there will be more chances for students to excel in the examination. As per statements made by NTA officials, it’s been said that the exams conducted by NTA will use highly secured IT Software and encryption technology to ensure the delivery of the test in stipulated time. Use of highly secured software ensures that there will be no leakages in the test. Due to these mentioned reasons, higher volume of students has filled JEE Main Application Form than predicted.
If a student gets two chances per year, they will get an additional opportunity to appear in JEE Main without wasting their one year. Candidates who have applied for JEE Main 2019 will also get access to computer centers which are free of cost to practice and get well versed with the computer-based examination. NTA is an autonomous body so the transparency regarding the entrance exam is definitely going to improve.
